How I found this book: Personally, I love murder mystery books. I searched up on google some good murder mystery books for teens, and this came up. I found this book very similar to One of Us is Lying. It was a lot better than I expected. And the ending was so unpredictable. A bad habit I have when I'm reading is sometimes I end up skipping to the end, so I can look for clues. But you shouldn't do that. The only problem with this book, was that it is a bit more of a mature read. It has a lot of mention of suicide. Overall, this book is so suspenseful, and it was such an exciting read.

Summary:
Welcome to dinner, and again, congratulations on being selected. Now you must do the selecting.

What do the queen bee, star athlete, valedictorian, stoner, loner, and music geek all have in common? They were all invited to a scholarship dinner, only to discover it’s a trap. Someone has locked them into a room with a bomb, a syringe filled with poison, and a note saying they have an hour to pick someone to kill … or else everyone dies.

Amber Prescott is determined to get her classmates and herself out of the room alive, but that might be easier said than done. No one knows how they’re all connected or who would want them dead. As they retrace the events over the past year that might have triggered their captor’s ultimatum, it becomes clear that everyone is hiding something. And with the clock ticking down, confusion turns into fear, and fear morphs into panic as they race to answer the biggest question: Who will they choose to die?

Favorite Restraunt

I recently came upon an essay I wrote in 5th grade during remote learning. This restaurant is still my favorite. I go there for many celebrations when given the choice to choose where to eat. "Do you love Chinese/Asian food and are waiting to try a new place? Come to P.F. Chang the place that has food based on that. It is my favorite because it has noodles and fried rice, but those are not my only favorite things about P.F. Chang, their decorations are splendid.   P.F. Chang’s lettuce wrap comes in two different tastes/looks. A vegetarian and non-vegetarian one. P.F. Chang has so many decorations such as Chinese/Asian warriors. You can find a Chinese/Asian picture of people as a bar headpiece. Whenever we go there my younger sister and I always alternate between our favorite foods, Lo Mein and fried rice. I always try to eat with the chopsticks. The music they play is not too loud or too sleepy but it feels calm. One of the desserts they have is Lava Cake. It comes with a piece of

Apple Picking

Around the end of August my family and another family went apple picking at Kuipers Family Farm. It was the perfect time to go, not too hot, not too cold. A new attraction they had were Sunflower Fields. There were so many beautiful sunflowers. My favorite part about the sunflower fields  ðŸŒ» were that each person could pick a sunflower to take home. My little sister's flower was tiny, while mine was medium sized. Whenever we go there we always get fresh donuts from the farm. I would say doing going here is a yearly tradition. Picking fresh apples from the apple trees, and eating them is scrumptious. At the end of our visit all the kids go on a train ride across the apple trees, tunnels, and beautiful flower fields.  Facts about many farms Many times fruits are picked earlier than they should be or have been sprayed with chemicals, but at farms you can pick them fresh without any chemicals Farmers will have to grow 70 percent more food than what is currently produced to feed the wor

Being Thankful

What is being thankful?  - Being thankful is when you appreciate what you have. If you do not appreciate what you have you will keep on wanting more and more. " Being thankful with what you have while working toward what you want." (This quote can be worded differently but at the end it is the same.) This quote is saying that we have to enjoy what we have but to get what we want we have to work toward it. Many times people are not thankful until they lose something. That is learning that you have to be thankful the hard way. How can I be thankful? - You don't just have to be thankful on Thanksgiving, you can do it all year. Appreciating what you have or people in the world can bring a smile to yours or their face. I appreciate my parents for all their hard work. Another example are the teachers. My teachers work hard to keep us interested in online learning. By just saying how thankful you are to them, it brings joy to their faces. What am I thankful for? My parents, who
