One Word 2021

I find it hard to remember resolutions, and maybe it's the same for you. My teacher assigned us to choose one word that we could reflect on during 2021. My word is persistence, which means to keep on trying when things get hard. This could reflect on homework or tests. If you get something wrong, you should at least understand what or why you did it. This could also reflect on blogging or just day to day life. Failing to get a soccer goal or not hitting a game change ball in tennis. None of this means you should stop there will be other opportunities to try again. Just learning from you mistakes is what matters. Getting into an argument with a friend doesn't mean you should never talk to them. This word inspires me to try my hardest and you should too.

Slacker

Slacker is one of my favorite novels by Gordon Korman Cameron Boxer is very happy to spend his life avoiding homework, hanging out with his friends, and gaming for hours in his basement. But one day he almost lets his house burn down while gaming. Oh no.....
