  • This amazing book has kept me wanting to keep on reading, as it's thrilling to read

  • Audra’s parents are arrested for the most dangerous act during that time, carrying a Lithuania book

  • The Russians banned any culture of Lithuania, and if you were found with a book you would be arrested and be taken away to a dangerous prison

  • Audra is now on the run taking up her parents path delivering books to people with only her fathers bag left of her parents

  • She meets a boy named Lukas and two others named Mildra and Ben who also carry and keep books

  • Will Audra get caught carrying books, will she ever see her parents again these questions and many more came to me while reading

Slacker

Slacker is one of my favorite novels by Gordon Korman Cameron Boxer is very happy to spend his life avoiding homework, hanging out with his friends, and gaming for hours in his basement. But one day he almost lets his house burn down while gaming. Oh no..... It's time for some serious damage control and his parents say he has to join an after school club, otherwise they will take away his video games. Then Cameron and his friends invent a fake school club that will make it seem like they're doing good deeds instead of slacking off. There is one problem though. Some kids think the club is real--and Cameron is stuck being president. Soon Cameron is part of a mission to save a beaver named Elvis from certain extinction.
