This is about people being stereotyped. You should never assume facts about someone without getting to know them.

I am a kid, but I’m not a baby

I am a girl, but I’m not weak

I am a singer, but I’m not world-famous just because I love to sing

I am a blogger, but I’m not blogging for a profession

I am a reader, but I’m not going to always walk around with my head in a book


I am a kid, and I am mature, smarter, and responsible

I am a girl, and I am smart, strong, kind, and thoughtful

I am a singer, and I love to sing all types of music

I am a blogger, and I am blogging because it helps me appreciate what I have and it allows me to write about my thoughts

I am a reader, and I am only reading when I have to/want to


I am a compassionate girl, but I’m not going to cry whenever I hear a really sad story

I am a baker, but I’m not a baker that does not face challenges

I am a teenager, but I’m not lazy

I am a teenager, but I’m not disorganized or unclean

I am a traveler, but I’m not traveling all year long


I am a compassionate girl, and I am going to stay strong and be brave

I am a baker, and I find a lot of challenges when baking and they help me learn and improve my skills

I am a teenager, and I like to exercise and stay active

I am a teenager, and I stay organized as much as I can and clean up my messes

I am a traveler, and I travel a few times a year and cherish my fun adventures when traveling

6th Grade

Knock, knock Who’s there? Justin Justin who? Just in time to login to school for the day. I started 6th grade in the beginning of September. Due to remote learning my classes have been taken remotely. In class we learn something new every day. I always wonder how 6th grade would have been if this global pandemic had never happened.  All of my teachers are really friendly and nice. Why did the Chromebook look so sad during math class?Because it had so many problems!! Just like that remote learning can have many problems but my teachers keep me engaged in class lessons or doing classwork. One Word 2021

I find it hard to remember resolutions, and maybe it's the same for you. My teacher assigned us to choose one word that we could reflect on during 2021. My word is persistence, which means to keep on trying when things get hard. This could reflect on homework or tests. If you get something wrong, you should at least understand what or why you did it. This could also reflect on blogging or just day to day life. Failing to get a soccer goal or not hitting a game change ball in tennis. None of this means you should stop there will be other opportunities to try again. Just learning from you mistakes is what matters. Getting into an argument with a friend doesn't mean you should never talk to them. This word inspires me to try my hardest and you should too. Tell me your word of the year in the comments below!!!

It was so good, it had many plot twists and kept me reading. I wanted to finish reading the book as soon as I started. Ponyboy was part of the Greasers.
