Chapter 2

Fred told Daphne to come at 7:30 , but he told the rest of the gang to come at 7:00, for helping him set up the restaurant for the surprise party for Daphne. Noah and Scooby are the first to arrive. Noah is like “ Hey, Freddy what’s up and like where is the food.” Then Scooby said “ Reah where’s the food.” Noah and Scooby then keep on bombarding Fred with questions about the food. Like I said my readers they are food lovers. Finally, Anna comes with Emma. Anna says hi to them and Emma shyly says hi. Fred gazes at her with a strange look on his face. Suddenly he looks at the time and says he should be picking up Daphne right now. He tells everybody to get into their places and drives off.

Daphne is in her room choosing which earrings to wear. Her parents are watching her get ready. Daphne lives in a huge mansion with her 4 older sisters and her parents. She then walks out to her balcony and gazes at the front door. Then she sees lights and sees Fred walking up to the front door. She grabs her purse kisses her parents bye and runs to the door. Fred takes her by the hand and together they run to the restaurant. Almost there Fred tells her to close her eyes and then leads her to the silent restaurant. Entering the door is astounding for Daphne as she opens her eyes at the beautiful screen with pictures of the whole gang. Then noticing the gang she goes up to hug every single one except Emma. Daphne then gasps and says “ Emma,” and the Emma does the same thing “Daphne.” Anna asks do you know each other and Daphne said yes. Daphne told them to think back to when she went to Japan. Daphne met Emma there and the two girls had been friends ever since. Daphne then asks Emma “ How come you didn’t tell me you were coming?” Emma told Daphne “ I wanted to surprise you!” All of them stay up and party all night long since it was Daphne’s birthday. Daphne and Fred then kiss each other on the cheek when it is time to leave. Then a “bring” from Anna’s phone enlightens their room. Let me tell you readers that this “bring” was the gang’s mystery bring chime. Everybody quickly gathers around Anna’s phone. Anna starts reading!

Noah suddenly said he caught up at V.I.P  passes for restaurants. Daphne then says “ Gang pack up, we’re going to Japan!

6th Grade

Knock, knock Who’s there? Justin Justin who? Just in time to login to school for the day. I started 6th grade in the beginning of September. Due to remote learning my classes have been taken remotely. In class we learn something new every day. I always wonder how 6th grade would have been if this global pandemic had never happened.  All of my teachers are really friendly and nice. Why did the Chromebook look so sad during math class?Because it had so many problems!! Just like that remote learning can have many problems but my teachers keep me engaged in class lessons or doing classwork. I really appreciate all of the hard work they have done to make 6th grade enjoyable. I enjoy listening to Hoot&Hollers(book talks) in ELA. In science I enjoy playing Blooklet and learning about the mysteries of light. In math I enjoy being able to understand function concepts easily. In social studies I enjoy learning about culture's, similarities and differences.  Even though, th...

One Word 2021

I find it hard to remember resolutions, and maybe it's the same for you. My teacher assigned us to choose one word that we could reflect on during 2021. My word is persistence, which means to keep on trying when things get hard. This could reflect on homework or tests. If you get something wrong, you should at least understand what or why you did it. This could also reflect on blogging or just day to day life. Failing to get a soccer goal or not hitting a game change ball in tennis. None of this means you should stop there will be other opportunities to try again. Just learning from you mistakes is what matters. Getting into an argument with a friend doesn't mean you should never talk to them. This word inspires me to try my hardest and you should too. Tell me your word of the year in the comments below!!!

The Outsiders

The Outsiders.                          Written by: S.E. Hinton.                       Reviewed by: Me                                    In school we had to read this book in second quarter. It was so good, it had many plot twists and kept me reading. I wanted to finish reading the book as soon as I started. Ponyboy was part of the Greasers. There were two big groups in the neighborhood, the Socs, and the Greasers. The Socs were rich, spoiled kids, while the Greasers were poor kids. Many times the Socs jumped the Greasers when they were walking alone. Pony's parents died in a car crash, so the only family he has left is his fun brother Soda, and his oldest brother Darry. One night Pony and another Greaser, Johnny were in the park. They meet a bunch of Socs are there. They st...
