Noah's Ark

I have visited Noah's Ark for about 3 years in a row. My first year was with my cousins. The two other years we went with family friends. It is about a 2 hour drive to get there from my house. That is not the longest drive I have been on though. The longest was an over 10 hour drive to Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Noah's Ark is an extremely fun water park. The rides sat Noah's Ark are super fast!!!

My favorite ride was the Black Anaconda. A lot of the ride was in a tunnel. Water was splashing everywhere, and I screamed so much on my first time. The first time I went it felt a little scary, but at the end I loved it. I wanted to go again but the line was so long.

In Universal Studio's Volcano Bay there was a similar ride to the Black Anaconda, the Krakatau Aqua Coaster. Both are super fast and have a lot of drops!

Another ride I enjoyed was the Stingray. it started really high and then went low, high then low, until it came to an end. Me and a family friend went on it together and since I was lighter than her I had to go backwards for the big drop in the beginning.

I have a funny story for the ride Kowabunga. When me and my friends went on most of the rides I went backwards a lot. So on this ride when the lifeguard was moving the tube I asked him if he could make my friend go backward and instead he splashed her with a lot of cold water. When he pushed us into the ride my friend turned backward, so really it was a win-win 😂. I didn't have to go backward. It's not that I don't like going backward but going so much isn't that fun always because I can't see ahead.

Too bad this year my family cannot go due to Covid-19 🙁.

Family Vacation Time

I love going on vacation don't you? There are so many exciting places to visit, with things to do for every type of person. There are places for people who want to relax or go on an adventure. Below are some places I have traveled, that I would recommend going to! 1. Maldives We went to Maldives last summer and had an amazing time. I experienced a lot of firsts there. I went scuba diving for the first time in my life. Although it was not a full experience(the instructor teaching us held on to our oxygen tanks, to keep us from swimming away), we still saw so many amazing fish. There were so many different shapes and sizes along with colorful coral. We saw schools of fish, and they swam in between us. They were so close I could almost touch them. On top of seeing the sea animals we saw an abandoned shipwreck. It was a smaller sized ship compared to the ones in movies, but it was so cool! Another first I had there was walking on a white sand beach. These beaches are completely ...

Slacker

Slacker is one of my favorite novels by Gordon Korman Cameron Boxer is very happy to spend his life avoiding homework, hanging out with his friends, and gaming for hours in his basement. But one day he almost lets his house burn down while gaming. Oh no..... It's time for some serious damage control and his parents say he has to join an after school club, otherwise they will take away his video games. Then Cameron and his friends invent a fake school club that will make it seem like they're doing good deeds instead of slacking off. There is one problem though. Some kids think the club is real--and Cameron is stuck being president. Soon Cameron is part of a mission to save a beaver named Elvis from certain extinction. Along the way, he makes some new friends--and some powerful new enemies. The guy who never cared about anything is now at the center of everything . . . and it's going to take all his slacker skills to win this round. I love this book because it hila...

Lost in Hollywood

Lost In Hollywood is my favorite book by Cindy Callaghan. Her description of the places Ginger and Payton visited made me feel as if I was there myself. Thirteen-year-old Ginger Carlson feels like she is the only normal one in her family. Her father is an inventor who sells his gadgets online, Mom is obsessed with classic movies, and her brother Grant thinks he is from outer space. Luckily, Ginger has a totally normal BFF, Payton, and they have big plans for the future—they plan to become doctors and open a practice together in a big city. But first, they’re partnering on the state Science Olympics where they’re sure to take home the gold for their eighth grade class with their model of the brain. The Olympics training is interrupted when the Carlson family gets an urgent call that their eccentric Aunt Betty, a former actress who lives in Hollywood, is in serious trouble. The bank is going to take her house unless she can give them the money she owes. The Carlsons head to LA to sort th...
