Universal Studios

Over 2019's winter break my family traveled to Orlando, Florida to go to Universal Studios. It was my second time visiting the place.

I was excited to go on the new Harry Potter themed ride. It is Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. I had heard that it was super fast and went backwards. It was super fast and at the end there was a unicorn family. It was so cute. To reach the backwards movement, we had to go at a high speed.

That year I was tall enough to go on the Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket. I had longed to go on that ride since we first went there!!! I enjoyed the ride so much, as there was a high speed, many drops, and loops. The thrilling experience made me want to go again and again.

Another ride I liked was Despicable Me Minion Mayhem. Gru was planning a surprise anniversary party for him and the girls. We had 3d glasses to wear while we trained to be his minions. My little sister loved that ride. I thought it was fun but not as good as the Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket.

Escape From Gringotts was another thrilling ride. It was 3d and we got to see Voldemort, Harry, hermione, etc. We saw Harry Hermione, and Ron break into Gringotts.

Revenge of the Mummy is my second favorite ride. It is so creepy and back row and front row seats would be the best, since you can experience it better. There was real fire during the ride and I could feel the heat.

My family also visited Volcano Bay during our trip to Florida. My favorite ride was the Krakatau Aqua Coaster. It kept on going up and down, up and down. Another ride I liked was Kopiko Wai Winding River. It is the complete opposite of lazy rivers. The water is fast, and there were small waves. We went on so many of the thrilling rides that the parks had.

Here are some links to see the rides we went on.

Slacker

Slacker is one of my favorite novels by Gordon Korman Cameron Boxer is very happy to spend his life avoiding homework, hanging out with his friends, and gaming for hours in his basement. But one day he almost lets his house burn down while gaming. Oh no..... It's time for some serious damage control and his parents say he has to join an after school club, otherwise they will take away his video games. Then Cameron and his friends invent a fake school club that will make it seem like they're doing good deeds instead of slacking off. There is one problem though. Some kids think the club is real--and Cameron is stuck being president. Soon Cameron is part of a mission to save a beaver named Elvis from certain extinction. Along the way, he makes some new friends--and some powerful new enemies. The guy who never cared about anything is now at the center of everything . . . and it's going to take all his slacker skills to win this round. I love this book because it hila...

Dancing

Youtube Link to my Dance Dance: Kuttunadan Punjayile Sang by: Vidya Vox Danced by: Diya and Isha During the summer Isha and me wanted to do something fun so we decided to do a dance fusion. We combined classical Bharatanatyam with Western dance. We have been taking Bharatanatyam since we were little. It is really fun! We continue to learn it advancing higher and higher after each dance taught. It took us a long time to choreograph it with many obstacles, but at the end it turned out awesome for our first one.  My sister and I learn Bharatanatyam from Guru  Vanitha Veervalli . I hope you like watching it!!!
